Why Should We Work to Save Troubled Marriages?

As we all know, it is the marriage that begets the family and fragmented families is the social problem that confront America the most: child poverty, out-of-marriage births, teen drug and alcohol abuse, depression and suicide attempts, battered women, and the revolving door of poverty-addiction-crime- incarceration. The common denominator is many of these situations is the absence of a father.
